2. About this website
The content on acrepairplumsteadville.site is general information about heating and cooling systems. It is not a diagnosis of your equipment and should not be relied on as a substitute for an inspection by a qualified technician. Heating and cooling equipment involves gas, electricity, refrigerant under pressure and combustion by-products, and attempting repairs yourself can cause injury, property damage, carbon monoxide exposure or fire.
Nothing on this website is an offer or a binding quotation. Prices, availability and the scope of any work are confirmed only when we give them to you directly for your specific job.
3. Service area
We provide services throughout Pennsylvania. Town and county listings on this site describe our service area and do not guarantee that a technician is available at a particular moment in a particular place. Availability during severe weather and peak demand is not guaranteed.
4. Estimates, approval and payment
- We tell you any diagnostic or call-out charge before we dispatch a technician.
- The technician diagnoses the fault and quotes the repair before beginning it. Work starts only once you approve.
- If additional faults are found during the work, we stop and seek your approval before continuing.
- Estimates are based on the fault identified at the time. Concealed conditions — for example corrosion or damage not visible until equipment is opened — may change the scope, and we will discuss that with you before proceeding.
Payment is on completion of the work, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing. We accept cash, check and major credit and debit cards. Where a deposit is required for ordered equipment we will tell you the amount and what it covers before you commit.
5. Our work and warranty
We will perform services with reasonable skill and care, using technicians competent for the work, and in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturers' instructions. Pennsylvania does not issue a statewide HVAC contractor licence; permit and inspection requirements are set by your municipality, and we will tell you what your township requires for your job.
We warrant our workmanship on a repair for 90 days from the date of the visit. If the same fault recurs within that period because of how we carried out the work, we will return and put it right at no further labour charge.
Parts and equipment carry the manufacturer's own warranty, and its length and terms are set by the manufacturer rather than by us. We will tell you what applies to a part before fitting it, and we will handle a manufacturer claim on your behalf where we supplied the part.
The workmanship warranty does not cover faults arising from a different component failing later, work altered or attempted by someone else, lack of routine maintenance, misuse, or damage from flooding, power surges, pests or similar external causes.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the equipment and the work area.
- Tell us about known hazards, including asbestos-containing materials, which are not unusual around older Pennsylvania heating systems.
- Secure pets during the visit.
- Tell us about previous repairs or modifications you are aware of.
7. Safety matters outside our control
If you smell gas, leave the building and call your gas utility's emergency line from outside. If a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, get into fresh air and call 911. We are not a substitute for emergency services or for your utility's emergency response.
We may decline to return equipment to service where doing so would be unsafe — for example a furnace with a cracked heat exchanger, or a boiler with a defeated safety control. We will explain our reasons.
8. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability arising out of any single job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of business, or the cost of alternative accommodation or heating.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law or the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act.
9. Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked visit, call (215) 484-0300 as early as you can. Where the law gives you a right to cancel a home improvement contract within a set period after signing, that right applies regardless of anything in these terms, and the notice we give you with the contract governs it.
10. Intellectual property
The text, design and code of this website are owned by Plumsteadville HVAC Pros, except for third-party material used under licence. Town, county and postal data is derived from U.S. Census Bureau sources and from GeoNames, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, as credited in the site footer.

12. Changes
We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in force when you engage us.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the courts of Pennsylvania have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
